"We managed to get in a good game of cricket today at Paultons Cricket Club, Hampshire.

The weather was always going to be a problem, but some great work by the grounds man and a sensible decision by umpires and captain's ensured a competitive 30 over a side match. Norfolk & Suffolk won the toss and chose to bat. The openers started well with A. Green scoring 54. K. Storey came in at No. 3 in the 12th over and hit an impressive 78 n.o. The Innings gained further momentum in the last 3 overs where the visitors set a total of 184, only losing 4 wickets.

Hampshire's start was less impressive with both openers failing to impress, both out after 6 overs with the team on 25. Andy Wakeley came in at 3 and steered the home side to victory with a glorious 96 n.o supported by Dan Lewis with 28.

Overall an excellent game played in good spirit"
