Following several years as a single Force entry and more recently as a combined entry with City of London Police it was announced that with regret BTP would not be participating in the 2018 competition.
This was down to the fact that whilst most of the fixtures were based in the London area the Force being spread all over the UK did not give them access to players in other areas
With this in mind PSUK Secretary, David Fraser-Darling proposed at the AGM on 19 January to allow all BTP officers and staff who would like to participate in the 2018 National Knockout Competition be allowed to represent the Force area they reside in. This was accepted unanimously and come into effect immediately

I will in turn pass on your details to the local Force secretary.
Not only will BTP staff increase the amount of players available to each Force it will also allow me to see performances with the view of considering BTP staff to represent the National side, British Police CC.
This has already happened whereby a current BPCC player notified me of a BTP officer who plays for his club. This officer Dean Skelton has been selected to represent BPCC on tour at the end of June.
